It Don’t Mean A Thing

Hello all,

I was listening to some music and Rosemary Clooney’s “It Don’t Mean A Thing” came on my iPod. I just had to write about her.

She is one of those voices that I remember hearing as a child. I remember watching her over and over in such movies as “White Christmas” (1954) with Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, and Vera-Ellen, as a small child.

Just hearing her voice brings that sort of comfort that a warm fire and hot chocolate brings when it is blistery cold outside… Ok, “blisteringly” hot outside and a nice cold diet coke works too 🙂

She has such a beautiful texture to her voice, such a style of her own… Take a listen, for yourself, in the YouTube, below.
